No New Posts the Courtyard

Hamunaptra’s courtyard has quite a few statues of Gods and such—as the Egyptians depicted them—but most of them are hard to recognize, although there are about two that look decent. Pillars have fallen on top of each other, and the area is in a haphazard state, but it does have a low well in the middle of it, which provides a good source of water for the herd, as well as shade from the statues and pillars.

No New Posts the Stone Circle

A circle of fallen pillars that’s roughly seven feet wide, it stands out near enough towards the back of the two huge buildings that make up most of Hamunaptra. Often deserted, the circle is only ever active when herd meetings are called to discuss things such as alliances and other important matters.

No New Posts the Grotto

At the back of Hamunaptra, there is a huge cliff-face, which, in turn, has several small caverns cut into it. The largest of them all is off to the right slightly, and it’s big enough to house around two herds of horses, which is what the herd of Hamunaptra use as their shelter. Breeding and birthing also takes place in the grotto; it’s the most secure location in all of the territory.

Board Description
Hamunaptra
The legendary City of the Dead, it has been untouched for years. Not even the Magi—the pharaoh’s guards—dared enter it unless it was an emergency. And now, like Thebes, it is in ruins, but the City of the Living fairs better than Hamunaptra. Pillars have crumbled, falling all over the main courtyard, and although it has horses living within its walls, most of the time the area remains quiet and oddly still.
